PhD on The International Co-operative Alliance During War and Peace 1910-1950. This looked at how and why the Alliance survived two World Wars and the Cold War while other international working class movements divided under the pressures of total war and divisions of doctrine. CRU research associate, writing a book on the role of the Colonial Office in developing the Indian Co-operative Movement.
